Welcome to Camp Hope!

In 2000, a group of 11 orphaned Russian children from came to Des Moines to stay with host families for one week. This was beginning of Camp Hope -- a non-profit that helps place older adoptable Russian children with families in Iowa and around the U.S. To read more about Camp Hope, check out the links on the left side of the page or click here.

Thursday 6/23, 1:12pm The children are in Atlanta! One more flight after that and their anticipated arrival time at the Des Moines Airport is 4:45pm. This flight is slated as ON TIME!

We are honored to announce that the Iowa Foundation for Education, Environment and the Arts (IFEEA) will match $1 for every $2 Camp Hope raises, up to a maximum of $3,000.
